What's on the sign
- A headline that tells guests what to do, like “Share your photos” or “Be our photographer”.
- Your names and date, so it looks like part of your stationery, not a sticker from a vendor.
- The QR code on a white panel, so it scans whatever colour you pick.
- A short link under the code,
sharephotos.wedding/your-names, for guests whose camera won't scan. - “No app needed”, because that's the question guests ask before they bother.
Which size to print
| Where | Print size | How |
|---|---|---|
| Table cards, bar, guest book table | A5 or 5 × 7 in | Print the card from your dashboard |
| Frame on the welcome table | A5 or A4 | The A5 card, or the card scaled up at a print shop |
| Welcome sign or easel | A2, 18 × 24 in or larger | Download the QR code (SVG) and add it to your own sign design |
For any size, make the QR code roughly a tenth as wide as the distance guests will scan it from: about 3 cm on a table card, 15 cm or more on a sign people read from a couple of metres away.
Using your own design or a Canva template
Already have stationery? In your dashboard, download the QR code as SVG (sharp at any size) or as a 2048-pixel PNG, in your colour or plain black. Place it on your design, leave a margin of white around it, and add your short link underneath. Then scan the printed proof with two different phones before you order the full run.

Questions
Is the template free?
Yes. The card, the QR code and the album behind it are free. The free plan includes a limited number of guest uploads, shown under the form.
What size does it print?
The card prints at A5 (148 × 210 mm, close to 5 × 7 in), which suits table cards and small frames. For a large welcome sign, download the QR code as SVG or high-resolution PNG and place it on your own design.
Can I change the wording?
You can pick one of six headlines, here and again on the print page in your dashboard. Your names, date and link are filled in for you. For fully custom wording, use the QR download in Canva or any design tool.
Will the QR code work if I print it in gold or a pastel colour?
Keep the code itself dark on a light background. The card puts the code on a white panel for exactly this reason, and you can download a plain black version too.
Does the QR code expire?
No. It points to your album's own link, not to a QR generator's redirect, so it keeps working as long as your album exists.
